Join an award-winning global manufacturing and supply chain organisation as a Customs Specialist. This company provides services and equipment to the energy industry. Their expertise spans drilling, completion tools, land rigs, and fibre glass systems, contributing to a sustainable energy future. You will support and guide the business in customs special procedures in accordance with HMRC Guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities include:

Maintaining accurate records of goods imported and assisting with submission of Bills of Discharge to HMRC to meet deadlines. Managing third party approved vendors in line with current Inward Processing Authorisation. Ensuring ongoing compliance across the UK Business Units to meet requirements of the company’s customs approvals. Preparing and supporting of external audits as required by HMRC. Knowledge of commodity codes. Managing customs clearance for equipment being imported into IP or any other customs procedure. Managing customs clearance for equipment being re-exported out of IP or any other customs procedure. Knowledge of FTA. Knowledge of Origin and Preference. Post entry audit checks required. Issuing letters of instruction to customs brokers for IP shipments. Applicants to this role require:
