Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join and lead the Finance Team at CV Villas. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will be responsible for the production of all accounting, financial reporting, and analysis of operating expenses for the CV Villas brand, with a focus on driving efficiency and change.

Operationally, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the management of the accounts receivable and accounts payable segment of the department, ensuring a best-in-class service to the wider stakeholder groups within the business.

This role will involve having 3 direct reports.

What you'll be doing:

Responsibilities Financial Reporting - Key player in the production of monthly management accounts for the CV Villas brand. Financial Reporting - Key player in the year-end statutory process including being the key contact for auditors and other regulators. Financial Reporting - Delivery of ad-hoc financial reporting/analysis requests. Financial Reporting - Proven ability to manage a balance sheet, including regular balance sheet reconciliations. Budget / Forecasting - Key player in the delivery of annual P&L and Balance sheet budgets as well as mid-term plan (2-5-year forecast) to the DERTOUR Group for the CV Villas brand. Budget / Forecasting - Key player in the delivery of 2 forecasting periods (FC1 & FC2) for the CV Villas brand. Industry Regulators - Maintain relationships with CAA / IATA & ABTA and completion of the annual renewal and quarterly submissions for the CV Villas brand. Operational Finance - Lead and develop the transactional (AP & AR) Finance teams. Ensure teams are motivated and provide development/enriching opportunities where appropriate. Operational Finance - Ensure the AR & AP teams maintain a strong financial control environment, eliminating financial risk through fraud or error. Operational Finance - Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the leadership team and key budget holders through business partnering for OPEX spend. Operational Finance - Work closely with the Finance team to review and improve processes, ensuring awareness of external factors and best practices. Identify and implement efficiencies on an ongoing basis. Ad hoc Projects - Provide support/take the lead on significant projects impacting the business (specifically related to financial processes - e.g. bank changes/accounting upgrades/payment solutions etc). Demonstrate a commitment to the core company values and mission in all actions and decisions. Act as a brand ambassador, positively representing the group both internally and externally. Essential:

Previous experience in a similar level role, ideally within a travel or leisure business. Experience in managing a team. Previous demonstration of AP/AR process improvement & adoption of best practices. Strong Excel skills. The ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work under pressure. Desirable:

Familiarity with IFRS 15, IFRS 16, and IFRS 9. Experience of Microsoft Accounting Systems (AX Dynamics 365). Personal Qualities:

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to unravel complex accounting queries. Strategic thinker, able to develop teams & strong financial controls experience. The ability and willingness to get stuck in. High level of commercial acumen and ability to challenge the status quo. Excellent at building internal and external relationships.
