The Role: Cyber Delivery Assurance Principal Join our team as a Cyber Delivery Assurance Principal, where you'll play a pivotal role reporting to the Head of Cyber Delivery Assurance. Collaborating closely with BA Digital Delivery leadership and teams, the BA Cyber Team, and the International Airlines Group Cyber Security Office, you'll oversee multiple domains or tribes, ensuring effective assurance processes and embedding security within our operations. What You'll Do: Provide assurance to the Head of Cyber Delivery Assurance regarding domain-specific product delivery and maintenance, ensuring alignment with BA's risk appetite and effective control operation. Lead a team of cyber delivery assurance leads, offering cyber requirements, oversight, advice, and guidance to BA Digital Delivery teams across designated domains. Forecast and manage cyber resourcing across multiple domains, ensuring cost alignment and consistency. Effectively communicate with and influence senior stakeholders across BA to enhance understanding of cyber assurance and embed cyber security in design and delivery within the designated domain. Incorporate BA’s business objectives and risk appetite into cyber assurance strategies and deliverables. Offer authoritative advice and guidance on the application and operation of various security controls, including legislative or regulatory requirements. Provide cyber leadership across designated business or technical domains, driving forward solutions in alignment with both BA Cyber Assurance and cyber strategic vision and goals. What You'll Bring to British Airways: Demonstrated leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to influence and persuade stakeholders at senior levels. Proficiency in conducting threat and risk assessments across diverse technology stacks, identifying suitable mitigating controls. Proven ability to initiate and manage change to secure the future direction of BA. Capability to recognize priorities and guide teams towards achieving strategic business goals and objectives. Strong ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment. Your Experience: Experience working across various seniority levels and leading high-performing teams. Broad technical knowledge of cyber security controls demonstrated through relevant qualifications such as CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Implementor, relevant SANS GIAC certifications, or equivalents. Familiarity with frameworks including NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR, NIS, as well as NCSC cyber guidance. Experience in agile delivery environments is highly advantageous. Specific cyber expertise and demonstrable experience in at least one of the following areas: Cloud security, network security, digital security (multi-platform), infrastructure security, security by design, security architecture.
