£42,700 - £64,100 About Your Opportunity: The role of Junior Project Manager is to manage allocated small scale projects and/or work alongside a senior project manager on large scale project delivery. As a Junior Project Manager you will be working within the wider PMO team, striving to establish a centre of excellence by improving our delivery through the adoption of best practices, evaluating and enhancing our ways of working for the benefit of our business and our customers. Your role will include managing the delivery of project outcomes, supporting the financial picture, working closely with our customers to manage expectations and deliver to time, cost and quality. You will be required to work very closely with our customers and may be deployed in a customer team, necessitating regular work in Cheltenham. This operational role requires an understanding of project management tools and their application. Throughout this role, you are expected to gain and maintain a detailed understanding of the customer’s domain to ensure the products we deliver meet the customers’ requirements. You will work independently across one or more delivery packages with support from the PMO community and direction from Senior Project Managers and Delivery Authority. Understanding of Contract mechanisms

Exposure to working in a defence, government or similar environment
