Job Purpose

We are looking to hire a Cyber Security Manager to support our IT team in providing cyber security services across Cadent in collaboration with other cyber specialists in DR&S. The hired person will be responsible for engagement with product owners and business stakeholders when analyzing vulnerabilities and should have exposure to 3rd party Service Providers through business as usual and in procurement situations to assess cyber risk of their solutions. Key Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring related policies and standards as set out, protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information owned or processed by Cadent, in all formats and states and leading the cyber security analysts, assigning responsibilities, and coordinating efforts during incident response activities. Accountable for ensuring that Cadent complies with applicable IT security regulatory requirements and plays a key role on external and internal cyber privacy related audits and developing a cyber incident response plan ensuring it aligns with organisational goals and industry best practice. Responsible for performing a broad range of tasks bringing together outputs from the CSOC (Vulnerability and DR&S). Responsible for assuring threat detection, monitoring, and mitigation activities, supporting the cyber security operations centre (CSOC) and security architecture where appropriate. Skills and Experience

Educated to degree level in information security, computer science or similar. Certification in Information Security such as CISA, CEH, CISM. Experience or understanding of the following areas: access control systems, penetration testing, ethical hacking methods, programming, scripting, networking, hardware engineering and system administration. Significant information security experience with a track-record of liaising at all levels of the business and being a credible peer and senior levels. Ability to assess and propose mitigation strategies for technical risk at macro and micro levels. Ability to work independently and autonomously, confidence to challenge senior stakeholders and communicate with business stakeholders at all levels.
