Job Title: Cyber Services Specialist Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: London (Hybrid) Do you want to play a vital part in the strategy design, process development and management of a leading cyber function? Do you enjoy deploying and managing cyber tooling within a global organisation to fully utilise return on investment, whilst strengthening cyber resilience? Key accountabilities Plan, deliver and manage/maintain cyber tooling for a global organisation. Support the end-to-end life cycle of key third party suppliers and vendors to deliver cost savings and desired outcomes for the cyber department and business. Support the full end-to-end engagement for third party penetration tests with the organisation’s preferred supplier from scoping to vulnerability management and remediation. Manage and maintain the vulnerability management processes and work with relevant stakeholders to plan and remediate any findings. Support the review and maturity improvement of security processes and frameworks to continuously look to improve new and existing processes as they mature. Liaise with security risk architects, engineers, security operations centre (SOC) and wider risk and technology practitioners ensuring the appropriate stakeholders are part of the definition and improvement of Travelex security practices and processes. Support technology to respond to management actions and deliver improvement programs regarding Travelex security posture and controls. Assist in the assessment and rationalisation of security technology throughout the business the assist in achieving the best possible return on investment. Remain current on security technologies, tools and services and make recommendations for their use based on security, financial and operational criteria. Experience and personal qualities Successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key goals and timelines. A passion for cyber security technology and an ability to simplify complex solutions to ensure control objectives are met in an effective and efficient way (incl. technical, people and financial objectives). Good communication skills and stakeholder management. Successful management of GRC and vulnerability management platforms. Experience and knowledge of application security and DevSecOps methodology and associated security tooling is an advantage. Essential Must be very comfortable working within a technology environment and be self-motivated to learn the required level of depth to engage with technology professionals. Experience maturing existing processes and technologies to get the most from the company procured tooling. Experience in documenting policies, processes and procedures to a high standard. Proven ability to engage with a diverse range of security, technology and business professionals. Experience analysing vulnerability reports and working with relevant stakeholders to ensure mitigations plans are defined and tracked to completion. Understanding of financial services, including industry trends and technology adoption. Knowledge of, and experience in technology governance, including industry frameworks and standards such as ISF, NIST, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, SOC2, and/or others. Resilient and can-do attitude. General experience and personal qualities Experience in security solution engineering. Strong analytical skills, root cause analysis and critical thinking. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in computer science, IT engineering, or related field (preferred but not essential). Prior work experience in Financial Services sector (preferred but not essential). Why Travelex?
