Cybersecurity Analyst RedTech is pleased to present a brilliant opportunity with an industry-leading consultancy working within the healthcare sector. This person will be responsible for protecting the company’s IT systems and data by monitoring for security threats, handling security incidents, developing security strategies, and collaborating with other teams within the business. This unique role will suit somebody looking to propel their career within Cybersecurity and opens a clear-set path to one day leading your own team. Location:

Cambridge – hybrid, 50% in office spread over 2 weeks Salary:

£35,000 – £40,000 per annum + excellent benefits Requirements for Cybersecurity Analyst: Degree-educated with a minimum of 2.1 or equivalent At least 1 year of commercial experience in an IT Security role Knowledge and experience using EDR/XDR and Microsoft Defender Experience consulting with internal IT teams to provide strategic security advice on their IT projects Experience developing new security processes Excellent communication skills and happy liaising with internal and external teams Excellent knowledge of IT Infrastructure Systems Willingness to eventually progress into a leadership role taking on more responsibilities as the team grows Responsibilities for Cybersecurity Analyst: Run phishing tests, report outcomes, and address security gaps Monitor and respond to security incidents using tools like Microsoft Defender and Sentinel Act as the team representative, explaining security processes and gathering feedback from other teams Develop and improve security procedures, including vulnerability scans, remediation, and response guides Work closely with the Team Leader to shape the path of the Cybersecurity team moving forward Developing new security processes Technical writing (e.g. playbooks, response frameworks, SIEM configurations) Independent project delivery Consulting with internal IT teams to provide strategic security advice on their IT projects What this offers: Excellent salary and benefits Opportunity to work with a leading organization making a positive impact on people’s lives Huge progression opportunity with the chance to lead your own team Applications: If you would like to apply for this brilliant opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
