We are recruiting for a Children and Young Person’s Counsellor to join the team at Newcastle Hospice. Salary : Marie Curie Pay Scale, aligned with AFC Band 6 – £37,338 – £44,962 per annum (pro rata). Hours/Contract:
Permanent – Part Time – 30 hours per week (week days). Closing Date:

As a post holder, you will need to provide a flexible counselling service to children and young people facing grief and loss and provide support and advice to patients and carers in order that they feel able to support children and young people in their family. You will be working alongside the Bereavement Coordinator to coordinate the Hospice’s Children and Young Person’s Counselling Service. What we’re looking for: Degree/Diploma in Child Counselling. Member of BACP. Experience in counselling or equivalent. Palliative care experience would be advantageous. Excellent organisational skills.
