Job Description D365FO Developer - Remote/Hybrid - £100k We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Developer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. This role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable customisations within Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) projects. You will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to innovative solutions that integrate with the broader Microsoft ecosystem and drive digital transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape technical solutions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the growth of a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Solution Design: Develop low-level solution designs for end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP projects, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Custom Development: Implement customisations and extensions using X++ and other technologies to meet client requirements. Integration Architecture: Design and deliver integration solutions using the full Microsoft stack, including Data-verse, DMF, Power Platform, and Dual Write. Collaboration: Build strong relationships with client technical teams and Microsoft Fast Track architects. Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers and contribute to building a culture of technical excellence. Innovation: Explore integrations with emerging Microsoft technologies, such as AI and the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability. Delivery Excellence: Act as a trusted technical advisor, supporting global teams and contributing to project success. Skills and Experience Development Expertise: Strong experience with X++, .NET technologies, and D365FO framework extensions. Full Life-cycle Implementations: Proven track record of delivering successful D365FO projects. ISV Solutions: Experience developing and managing Independent Software Vendor (ISV) solutions. Testing and Deployment: Proficiency in unit testing (ATL framework) and Azure DevOps infrastructure management (repositories, pipelines, automation). Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with Azure infrastructure management for cloud-hosted environments, including subscription and security management. Integration: Knowledge of integrating D365FO with external systems and non-Microsoft cloud providers. Life-cycle Services (LCS): Hands-on experience managing application life-cycle through the LCS portal. Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and project management practices.
