18 Recruitment are looking for a Supervisor for our social housing client to lead their Damp & Mould Team working across London, but mainly based from their Stratford office. The role will mainly be: Providing Pre & Post Inspections for Mould & Damp on properties, On-site supervision of Mould & Damp works carried out for our clients including residential properties, and ensuring operatives comply with health and safety and that the instructions for the job have been followed. Responsibilities Day-to-day supervision of the Mould & Damp Team and ensuring that all operatives are working efficiently and productively. Attend Pre-Inspections to properties for Mould & Damp which include taking photos. Upload all pre-Inspections to company system. Log and create folders for each individual property on company system. Attend Post-Inspections to properties for Mould & Damp which include taking photos. Liaising with residents and customers and dealing with any queries or issues which may arise. Ensuring works are completed on time and to a high-quality standard. Organising operatives, assisting RLO with planning Mould & Damp appointments in conjunction with the Minor Works Team. Completion of appropriate paperwork such as method statements and risk assessments, delivering toolbox talks. Attend regular weekly/bi-weekly meetings with your line manager. Ensure that all variation sheets are appropriately completed and signed by the client or client representative. Ensure that the construction phase Health & Safety file and relevant F10 is present, updated and maintained on site. Ascertain that all subcontractors and operatives carrying out works on site have been inducted. Obtain and ascertain that method statements issued by subcontractors are adequate and acceptable prior to authorising works to proceed. Ascertain that all heating and gas works specified have been brought to the attention of the Gas Qualified Manager prior to authorising such works to proceed on site. Driving from site to site as part of the daily duties. Ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience Experience in a similar role. Working construction industry knowledge. Experience of using SOR codes. CSCS. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations. Great knowledge of Nat Fed SOR codes. Ability to report on large multi-trade works including codes & full depth reports. Must have a full driving licence as will be driving a company van from site to site.
