Dance Teacher Full time January/February Gosport Teaching Personnel are working with a coeducational secondary school located in Gosport, Hampshire. Are you a passionate and skilled Dance teacher ready to inspire the next generation of performers? The school is seeking a dedicated Dance Teacher to join their team full-time from January or February (start date to be confirmed). This is an exciting opportunity to continue delivering high-quality dance education, including GCSE Dance classes, within a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Dance Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and creative dance lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on GCSE Dance. Prepare students for assessments, including practical and theoretical components, ensuring high achievement levels. Contribute to the broader performing arts curriculum and extra-curricular activities, such as dance clubs and school productions. Plan and deliver lessons that inspire creativity, develop technique, and encourage confidence. Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and achievement in line with school policies. Collaborate with the Performing Arts team to enhance the department's vision and success. The ideal candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Dance. Have experience teaching Dance at secondary level, including GCSE classes. Be confident in teaching both practical and theoretical components of Dance. Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for the performing arts. Be an enthusiastic and inspiring educator who motivates students to excel.
