Location: Southampton Start Date: ASAP Dance Teacher ECT or experienced Ability to teach Dance to GCSE and for A-Level An Ofsted rated ‘Good’ practitioner. A passion for Dance The ability to help support an already exceptional team. The ability to secure excellent achievement across all key stages. A commitment to fresh and exciting methods of delivering the curriculum. A relentless drive to secure the best possible outcomes for students of all abilities. Excellent communication and ICT skills

The successful Dance Teacher will be both ambitious and committed to the teaching of Dance. They will bring enthusiasm, dedication, and ideas to the department and a desire to promote success, whilst instilling in their students a passion for the subject.

The School is an 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive serving Dance and the surrounding community. It is highly regarded in the local area and recognized as a friendly and welcoming School with high academic standards. The School has a very positive learning culture, and their Ofsted report (2020) graded the School as Ofsted rated ‘Good’.

Experience and Qualifications

Degree in Dance or similar QTS or PGCE

Salary

The salary for this Dance Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
