Responding to customer commission queries in writing Follow company policy always adhering to service levels and current legislation Liaise with other areas of the business, including our internal and external legal teams to ensure complex customer queries are satisfactorily responded to To ensure all customer related data is accurately recorded and factual in line with GDPR Investigate, log, resolve and response to customer or claims management company queries surrounding Credit Files, Complaints and Data Subject Access requests within the regulatory time frame Deal with or escalate any identified risks in relation to Santander Consumer risk policies and/or legislative and regulatory guidelines in accordance with the Santander UK group risk framework Ensure all relevant legislation and regulation is followed Any other ad hoc and reasonable requests from the management team We’re looking for someone with:
GSCE’s for Mathematics and English at an A-C grade (or equivalent) Solid customer service experience (ideally in the Financial Services sector) Their own initiative to resolve complex customer queries A positive, enthusiastic approach and someone who is receptive to change The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Excellent attention to detail Strong written communication skills, as well as strong numeracy skills Confident telephone & call handling skills Good interpersonal skills Planning and organisation skills Other things to know:
The training for this role requires you to work onsite until you are at the required standard – and as per the line managers discretion. Once this is achieved, you will be able to work on a hybrid basis (a mixture of working in the office and working from home) this is subject to line managers discretion Once you start your hybrid working, after training is complete, as a part timer you will be expected to work onsite at the Redhill office at least 10 days per month You will be required to work 2 bank holidays (pro-rated accordingly) during the year and receive overtime pay at the appropriate rate to compensate you Inclusion
