You'll work as a discipline lead within cross-functional distributed teams, using data and AI technologies to create impactful solutions. We're looking for someone able to use data and AI to transform businesses and improve people's lives. As a Data & AI Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our data initiatives, bringing a mix of technical expertise and strategic thinking to help guide our organisation's data and AI efforts. You'll play a crucial role in mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and helping our clients understand the value and applications of data-driven technologies. What you are responsible for

Leading the development and implementation of data and AI strategies across projects Designing and overseeing the creation of data pipelines, machine learning models, and AI-powered solutions Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data and AI capabilities into existing products and services Mentoring and upskilling team members in data science and AI technologies Ensuring best practices in data governance, privacy, and ethical AI development Contributing to business development efforts by helping to identify and pursue data and AI opportunities Collaborating with the wider Futurice Data and AI community and growing the Data/AI practice in the UK Some of the things we expect to see

Technical skills Strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and AI concepts Hands-on experience with data analysis, visualization, and modeling tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) Familiarity with cloud-based data and AI platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Understanding of GenAI technologies and applications, e.g.:

Large Language Models (LLMs) Natural Language Processing (NLP) Computer Vision Generative Models (e.g., GANs, Diffusion Models) RAG solutions

Some experience with data engineering concepts and tools Knowledge of software development practices and version control systems (e.g., Git) What we care about

Competitive salary benchmarked externally and internally for salary fairness:

our Lead level banding is £75,000-£100,000 Company pension contribution of 6% (increasing with tenure) Private health insurance with WPA 25 days of holidays + bank holidays and a day off for your birthday too.
