End Date : Sunday 19 January 2025 Job Title : Data Analyst Apprentice Salary : £25,000 starting salary, plus fantastic benefits Location(s) : Chester Hours : Full-time Start : Early to mid-September 2025 Working Pattern : We will want you to be working in the office most of the time as you settle into your role with a view to moving to hybrid working where you will be in your hub office for a minimum of two days per week. What you’ll learn As a Data Analyst apprentice, you’ll cover the fundamentals of data analytics and begin to become a data professional, using big data and statistical modelling to make better predictions from data. Our programme will give you a thorough understanding of how data is integrated to allow the application of statistics and modelling to make better predictions from data. Data storytelling runs throughout the programme, and you will explore a number of theories which will reinforce concepts around effective visualisation. Your apprenticeship will take around 18 months to complete and will cover key areas such as: Analytics lifecycles Data democratisation SQL data extraction Advanced data joins Advanced visualisation of data Statistical programming languages Predictive modelling and forecasting Statistics in analysis Creating and delivering a great data product What you’ll need GCSE

(or equivalent)

at grade 4-9 in both Maths and English (Language and / or Literature) . You’ll need to be

at least 18 years old on 1st September 2025 . Whilst we welcome candidates who have a degree, this cannot be in a field related to the apprenticeship due to a crossover in learning. We’ll request a copy of your degree module transcript to review if your degree may contain prior learning. Important information Due to Home Office requirements regarding Skilled Workers, we’re unable to accept applications for visa sponsorship for our apprenticeship roles as the proposed salary for the role does not meet the minimum threshold – if this situation applies to you, please consider looking for other vacancies which may be more suitable. Salary You will join us on a fixed apprenticeship salary where you’ll be eligible for annual pay reviews. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, your salary will be increased in line with the grade and pay range for your role.
