Salary: LGO6 ($93,992 - $100,333 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications, and experience About the Role Are you a data enthusiast with a passion for turning numbers into actionable insights? We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will explore the possibilities with Artificial Intelligence, craft data-driven solutions, discover trends and present data to provide unique insights for decision-making. You will work collaboratively within the Customer & Digital Services Section and across the Council and community to develop and implement Data and Analytics services that deliver real value. Your work will directly contribute to shaping the future of our city, enhancing the quality of life for our residents, and driving positive change in the community! About You Our ideal candidate will have: Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Fabric for creating reports, dashboards, data flows and end-to-end analytical solutions. Proficiency in the Azure platform for data science, including data storage, and AI application. Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices. Proficient understanding of data warehouse technology and architecture. Experience in handling large-scale datasets from diverse sources such as Finance, Enterprise Asset Management, Works Management, Property and Rating, Spatial/GIS, Records Management, and Human Resources. Tertiary qualification in Data Science or relevant Information Technology discipline or extensive demonstrated experience. Highly developed interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiation, and facilitation. Creative problem-solving skills in a complex environment using leading-edge technologies.
