About our team: The primary liaison between TVS and our clients’ management teams, the Account Management function is responsible for client retention, growth and contract adherence. Account Managers hold the ultimate responsibility for the commercial performance of our contracts and work with various departments across the business to bring together an excellent customer experience through service, new solutions and value to maintain strong relationships. Your Purpose: As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic business decisions. Working across departments, you will collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Your analytical expertise will help improve operational efficiency, inform product development, and support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Your Main Duties & Responsibilities: Data Collection and Management: Gather data from various sources, ensure data quality, and maintain databases. Data Analysis: Apply statistical methods and analytical tools to analyze complex datasets. Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to visualize findings. Problem Solving: Identify business challenges and propose data-driven solutions. Stakeholder Communication: Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear, actionable terms. Process Optimization: Recommend improvements to data collection and analysis procedures. Tool Development: Create and maintain data analysis tools and automation scripts. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to understand their data needs and requirements. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of analysis methods and procedures. Data Security: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security protocols. Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Essential Knowledge and Skills: Technical Skills: Experience with systems used for data analysis. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Basic understanding of statistical concepts. Analysis and Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Basic understanding of data cleaning and preparation. Ability to identify patterns and trends in data. Business Knowledge: Understanding of basic business metrics and KPIs. Knowledge of industry-standard reporting practices. Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication. Time management and organization. Ability to work independently and in teams. Tools and Software: Microsoft Excel (advanced functions and pivot tables). Basic version control (e.g., Git). Familiarity with data warehousing concepts. Desirable Skills: 2 Years experience in a similar role / capacity undertaking data analytics. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to think creatively, maintain an optimistic and positive approach and be ready to learn. This is a client-facing position so you will also need to have strong interpersonal skills and/or a willingness to learn these techniques. We are currently operating on a hybrid working basis, there will however be a period of time at the start of your employment spent fully working in our office, meeting our people and familiarising yourself with our systems and processes.
