As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic business decisions. Working across departments, you will collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Your analytical expertise will help improve operational efficiency, inform product development, and support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. This position requires a blend of technical skills, business acumen, and strong communication abilities to effectively translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Job Responsibilities

Data Collection and Management: Gather data from various sources, ensure data quality, and maintain databases Data Analysis: Apply statistical methods and analytical tools to analyze complex datasets Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to visualize findings Problem Solving: Identify business challenges and propose data-driven solutions Stakeholder Communication: Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear, actionable terms Process Optimization: Recommend improvements to data collection and analysis procedures Tool Development: Create and maintain data analysis tools and automation scripts Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to understand their data needs and requirements Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of analysis methods and procedures Data Security: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security protocols. Though this position would be primarily office based at Chorley, applicants must be willing to travel and at times work from other locations. Qualifications and Skills

Essential Knowledge and Skills: Technical Skills: Experience with systems used for data analysis Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Basic understanding of statistical concepts Analysis and Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and attention to detail Basic understanding of data cleaning and preparation Ability to identify patterns and trends in data Business Knowledge: Understanding of basic business metrics and KPIs Knowledge of industry-standard reporting practices Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication Time management and organization Ability to work independently and in teams Tools and Software: Microsoft Excel (advanced functions and pivot tables) Basic version control (e.g., Git) Familiarity with data warehousing concepts 2 Years experience in a similar role / capacity undertaking data analytics. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to think creatively, maintain an optimistic and positive approach and be ready to learn. This is a client facing position so you will also need to have strong interpersonal skills and/or a willingness to learn these techniques. Job Location
