About the Opportunity :
The Advanced Analytics team is a part of the Data Analytics Customer Centre of Excellence within the Customer Product & Marketing team and is responsible for building, maintaining and uplifting analytics assets that are crucial to delivering insights and unlocking opportunities at both a strategic and operational level.
Reporting into the Customer Data Science Leader, we have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to leverage their commercial acumen, data handling, understanding of analytical frameworks, and presentation skills to deliver high quality insights & visualizations to commercial stakeholders.
The role will see you partner with the Customer business unit to deliver on its overall strategy and provide an excellent opportunity to learn or improve your Python skills. This role will suit someone that can demonstrate that dashboards are only one tool of bringing data to life, strong storytelling skills and enjoys working closely with stakeholders.
Responsibilities include :
Leverage your technical skills to perform sophisticated distributional and statistical insights and analytics work to support business initiatives.
Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into informative dashboards.
Ensure dashboard infrastructure and assets are maintained to meet stakeholder SLAs.
Investigate and resolve any data quality issues that emerge from upstream data processing issues.
Maintain a data dictionary of data assets to be used by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
About You :
A recognised university degree in a statistical or technical domain (Mathematics, Econometrics, Data Science etc) or equivalent experience.
3-4 years experience, looking to broaden your skills and curiosity to learn.
Strong collaboration, communication, presentation and storytelling skills. The ability to deliver technical information to non-technical audiences is a critical success factor.
Strong proficiency in SQL; Python is advantageous.
Strong proficiency in Visualisation Tools such as Tableau / Power BI.
Experience with cloud platforms and building pipelines would be highly valued.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work through ambiguous problems in a structured manner.
