Connect it Utility Services is a growing multi-utility company committed to delivering exceptional service in the utility sector. We are expanding our team and seeking a data analyst to join our team based in Hedge End, Southampton. The data analyst will play a pivotal role in processing and analysing key business data related to weekly wages, overtime and incentive payments as well as analysing vehicle data to maximise efficiency. The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills with the goal of ensuring operational efficiency and identifying areas for improvement. Key Responsibilities:

Track and analyse system data e.g. incentive and overtime payments. Weekly Reporting and analysis of additional payment elements. Identify and report any discrepancies, deficiencies or anomalies in wage and payment data to senior management. Analyse vehicle tracking data to monitor vehicle efficiency and performance. Provide actionable insights and reports to improve operational efficiency. Ensure that all data is processed in compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation. Provide valuable insights whilst supporting data-driven decision-making. Key Requirements:

Proven experience in data analysis. Strong proficiency with data analysis tools and software (Excel, SQL or Similar). Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies or trends. Excellent time management skills. Ability to present data-driven insights in a clear concise manner. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior management. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Excel and Word). Minimum 2 years experience in a similar environment.
