The role We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Risk & Analytics team and provide support to the Head of Risk and the Credit Risk Management team. In this role, you’ll play an instrumental part in identifying and analyzing risk exposures, improving data quality, and delivering insightful analyses and visualizations that drive informed risk decisions. Responsibilities Quantitative Analysis:

Conduct detailed quantitative analysis on large datasets from SME loan originators, including various loan types such as invoice, secured/unsecured term loans, consumer loans, and credit cards.

Financial Modeling and Stress Testing:

Build, calibrate, and maintain financial models to assess portfolio risks, including, but not limited to, credit risk. Conduct regular stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of adverse economic conditions on the fund’s portfolio, providing actionable insights for proactive risk mitigation and strategic decision-making.

Portfolio Reporting and Visualization:

Develop and maintain reports and visualizations to provide stakeholders with valuable insights, supporting ongoing monitoring and risk management of the portfolio.

Collaboration:

Work closely with software developers and data engineers to design and implement data strategies.

Data Quality Improvement:

Recommend improvements to enhance data quality, consistency, and usability, ensuring data is reliable for decision-making.

Market Research:

Conduct research on European lending markets, analyzing regulatory conditions, macroeconomic trends, competitive landscapes, and lending standards to identify and assess risks across various markets.

What excites us in a candidate Experience in Private Credit:

Direct experience with private credit products such as loans and receivables. Experience with structured products and/or securitization is a plus.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced Python skills for financial modelling. Proficiency in Excel and SQL is preferred.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex data insights to various stakeholders.
