Financial Markets Department covers both trading book and banking book activities for Bank of China London Branch and Bank of China (UK) Limited. As a Data Analyst - Mandarin Speaking, you will support the Sales teams to deliver multi-product Financial Markets services to the Bank’s clients. You will be responsible to handle the operational and administration work related to the Financial Markets business and you will contribute to data consolidation and analysis, preparing presentations and reports for the departments and Management. This is a full time permanent position. Key Responsibilities Perform departmental administrative tasks to support the department to achieve both the Bank’s strategy and KPI targets. Ensure all operational work complies with the Bank’s guidelines, policies and procedures. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly data/reporting as required. Prepare data information on customer’s performance and market data for internal/external use; develop and share knowledge around products, procedures and mandates to facilitate high service levels to the Sales teams. Participate in departmental and cross departmental projects when required. Manage relevant systems and respond to enquiries by Sales teams and other departments. Monitor and record monthly department KPIs. Perform daily/weekly/monthly risk monitoring and reporting. Requirements Degree educated in Economics, Accounting or Finance or other equivalent. Relevant professional qualification as required, i.e. PRA/FCA Registered Exams or Exemptions, is desirable. Working towards or obtained CISI Unit 1 - UK Financial Regulations qualification is desirable. Excellent data analysis skills. Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills. Excellent attention to detail with ability to multi-task. Able to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent organisation skills. Good problem solving skills. Team player. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin. Flexible in terms of working hours.
