As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and managing data relevant to the Technology Procurement function. You will ensure high data quality while maintaining security and confidentiality where required. Develop and enforce policies and procedures for data gathering and sharing, evaluating the integrity of the data sources, and continuously improving data management strategies. Support Category Managers & stakeholders in understanding their category data and generating valuable insights. You will collaborate with a broad community of stakeholders, both internal and external, and be instrumental in supporting the Category Managers in achieving savings targets on projects. This position will focus on providing relevant, accurate data to all Category Managers and Technology stakeholders to give them an overview of spend and savings, trends, key dates, etc., to enable them to make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities: Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure accuracy and legitimacy of data. Create weekly and monthly dashboards as required by various categories. Conduct regular meetings with technology procurement team members and category leads on dashboard improvements. Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects. Assist with reports and data extraction when needed. Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades, etc.). Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses. Troubleshoot data-related problems. Timely production and maintenance of reports. Create and maintain data content for internal publications. The ideal candidate would look like the below: 2-3 years in a similar role. The ability to decipher and organize large amounts of data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills to effectively scrutinize data for inaccuracies. Familiarity with data visualization and analytic tools and the ability to produce informative, relevant, and user-friendly reports. A curious mindset, finding and resolving problems, exploring new technologies. In-depth knowledge and experience of Excel, PowerBI, SAP, etc.
