This role provides the billing for business customers, generating revenue circa £350m per annum. Working with a wide range of stakeholders to aid in the delivery of producing accurate billing details. This role has the opportunity to provide career progression within Secure Platforms, with space to upskill and progress through the area. In Secure Platforms we have a diverse range of skills and capabilities in order to deliver for our Secure customers and we actively encourage developing a broad skillset that can be utilised on different contracts. What you’ll be doing Supporting in monthly and adhoc billing activities, ensuring that accurate billing is delivered. Developing subject matter expertise in the billing area, assisting team members in queries. Supporting the identification and resolution of issues and defects to ensure delivery to required standards. Reviewing own work and peers’ outputs to contribute to identifying and flagging errors or potential issues. Developing working relationships and communicating with a range of project stakeholders across teams to ensure actions are completed, progress updated and impacts on other components managed. The skills you will need We are looking for individuals with a range of skills in one or more of the following areas/disciplines: Excel (Intermediate level) SQL (Basic level) Database management tools (Basic level of both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server) Great stakeholder management, planning and organising, and problem-solving skills. Ability to deliver quality analysis to tight deadlines, using planning to identify risks and issues. Great communication and the ability to clearly articulate, both in writing and verbally, advice or a resolution in a way that our customers will understand. Experience you will be expected to have Able to attend the office 5 days a week onsite at our Ipswich location. Holds a technical degree or industry-relevant experience. Is eligible to hold a minimum of SC clearance. Evidence of communicating effectively with a range of customer types across the business, both internal and external. Stakeholder management - evidence of managing multiple stakeholders across a variety of roles and seniority levels. Has worked under direction in a fast-paced environment on a variety of projects or issues. Has an understanding of ITIL practices. Previous experience in a billing role would be desired.
