Summary

The proposal data and content specialist will play a meaningful role in supporting the preparation and delivery of high-quality proposals by ensuring that all data, content, and documentation are accurate, consistent, and aligned with client requirements. The individual will focus on prioritizing and optimizing our content libraries (Loopio and SharePoint), capturing relevant data for proposals, and ensuring that proposals meet the required standards of quality, compliance, and transparency. Detailed Responsibilities

Content Management: Develop, update, and maintain a database of proposal content (Loopio & SharePoint), including templates, standard text, graphics, and other assets. Prioritize and categorize content to ensure quick retrieval for use in future proposals. Ensure that content is consistent, relevant, and tailored to meet the specific needs of each proposal. Proposal Data Management:

Collect, verify, and organize all vital data for proposals, including financials, metrics, performance, and other key information. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, legal, specialist teams) to gather accurate data and ensure all proposal requirements are addressed. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data presented across all proposal sections. Proposal Writing and Editing:

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing proposal sections to ensure transparency, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements and Aon values. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Check that content and data align with corporate messaging, branding, and style guidelines. Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with Proposal Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other partners to ensure that content and data reflect the latest business strategies and technical requirements. Provide timely and clear communication to the proposal team, addressing any content or data-related issues that arise during the proposal process. Continuous Improvement:

Identify and recommend process improvements for content management and data collection to enhance efficiency and quality. Stay updated on industry standard processes, proposal trends, and new technologies that could improve proposal quality and efficiency. Role Complexity

Contributor-level role Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature and where established practices, procedures, and precedents guide the work. Able to follow procedures and investigate issues in order to tackle problems. May work on more sophisticated assignments that require review. Discretion

Decisions are based on acquired skills and knowledge as opposed to applying discretion and judgment. Due to different situations encountered, has latitude to consider which procedure to use. Typically carries out own research in order to make recommendations. Interaction

Interacts courteously, attentively, and confidently with internal colleagues and external clients, generally to exchange information of a service nature. May have interaction with internal and external clients to identify, research, and resolve problems. Supervision/Leadership
