A leading UK-based healthcare organisation are undergoing an exciting period of digital transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Data Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the enterprise data strategy and transforming the data landscape of a large, fast-paced organisation dedicated to providing high-quality services. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain a robust data architecture framework, ensuring data quality, governance, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation. This is a permanent, primarily remote role with occasional travel across the UK. Duties: Develop and execute a strategic data architecture blueprint. Establish comprehensive data architecture standards and principles. Lead the Data Architecture strategy, focusing on data sourcing and mastering approaches. Manage the organisation's data catalogue, ensuring consistent and high-quality metadata. Act as a strategic advisor within the organisation's data programme. Align data, technical, and business architecture across the organisation. Promote best practices and improve organisational data maturity. Experience: Degree-level education or equivalent experience. Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Architecture. Proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide data solutions. Expert knowledge of data architecture principles and methodologies. Strong leadership and influencing skills. Flexibility for occasional UK-wide travel. Willingness to work extended hours when required.
