How you'll make a difference We are currently looking to recruit a Data Design Lead | Solutions Architect on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. This is a pivotal role within our Core programme – the largest transformation programme in the Society's 140 year history. This is a replacement of our core banking systems with a modern SaaS cloud ecosystem. Working for the Core Programme Data Architecture Lead and closely with our Solutions Architects you will take our data landscape to the next level; working with stakeholders to ensure data architecture design aligns to the programme roadmap and data strategy. You are a natural communicator and adept at bringing people together on the solutions design journey. You will shape the end-to-end data model for the replacement of our current core banking platform, managing dependencies, consideration of interoperability, data principles and accelerating change through the creation of data models and other artefacts. What you'll bring to the role: Solutions design, Data Modelling or Data engineering background designing data architecture for transactional operational systems. Experience of system integration technologies ideally Azure. Broad technical and/or data management background covering architecture frameworks and design patterns.
