Data Architect, Kent - Hybrid with a competitive salary

We have partnered with an organisation that is prominent in the sporting industry who are seeking a Data Architect to join their expanding senior data team. The organisation has recently gone through a migration to AWS, which has formed some challenges and many opportunities to better the Data estate.

This is a great opportunity to help mature the environment, form the high-level designs, and improve data governance, quality, lineage, and catalogue.

The role will benefit from flexible hybrid working of 1-2 days onsite.

Requirements of the Data Architect:

Minimum 2+ years as a Data Architect 5 years in AWS with strong knowledge of S3 Buckets, Redshift, and Glue Proven experience designing end-to-end strategies and solutions with a detailed approach In-depth AWS Data knowledge of Data Lake, RDS, Data Warehousing, S3, Kinesis, DBT, AWS Data Catalog, or Alation Strong programming ability in PySpark and Python Exceptional attention to detail, confident communicator, and self-starter

Responsibilities of the Data Architect:

Formulate the strategy and design scalable data solutions in AWS Lead the innovation and integration of the data architecture Implement data security protocols to protect company information Manage data retrieval and storage across the AWS estate
