What you will be doing: In this role, you will have the opportunity to create architecture designs for solutions to a business problem. They design, describe, and manage the data solution. In many ways, this person builds the bridge between a business problem and the technology solution and outlines each of the phases and requirements required to make the solution work.Your responsibilities will include…Undertaking in depth technical analysis of business requirements to feed into a technical solutionDesigning technical solutions for business problems, which will require regular feedback and adjustmentsDocumenting all data architecture designs and analysis work as well as creating and maintaining data artefacts and design documentsSupporting the implementation of a new cloud data platform to support the Bank wide initiativesCommunicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences and adapting communication styles accordinglyCoaching and developing junior members in the teamKeeping up to date with the evolving landscape of data and regulations surrounding this In return for your commitment: Please use this link to see the fantastic benefits available at OSB:https://www.osb.co.uk/careers/overview/benefits Could you be the one?We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:Previous work experience as a Data Architect working within a regulated environmentKnowledge of data solution design and data modelling, as well as agile methods and processesExposure to Azure data platforms would be advantageousPrevious experience communicating updates and obtaining requirements from stakeholdersWe also believe that your career and how you progress is as unique as your individual personality.
