Our client is currently seeking a Data Asset Manager to join their team playing a vital role in taking ownership of all data products, leveraging your knowledge of the business to build value and deliver insights to stakeholders. Key skills required for this role A Data Asset Manager is needed to be the driving force in maximising the value and impact of data assets within a data strategy. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of data management and analytics and you will join a highly functioning team driven by a common goal. The Data Asset Manager will develop investment cases for data assets, implement innovative strategies to enhance return on investment, and ensure alignment with organisational goals. This role will require you to understand business objectives, translate them into data strategies, and then sell them back to internal stakeholders to gain buy-in from the wider business. As such, you will need excellent people skills and the ability to communicate technical matters to stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain data assets, ensuring their accuracy, integrity, and availability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data solutions Utilise Data Bricks and other tools to perform data analysis and identify patterns, trends, and opportunities Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and work-flows to support data integration and transformation Develop strategies to maximise the value of data assets and identify opportunities for monetising Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate key insights to stakeholders Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement Job Requirements Significant experience in data management, data engineering, or a related role Strong knowledge of Data Bricks, data analysis techniques, and data visualisation tools Experience in working with large datasets, data integration, and transformation Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and best practices Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently Prior experience in the technology sector is preferred The Data Asset Manager is paying up to £60K + benefits and is a great opportunity for someone with a curious mind and good data skills to join a high functioning team making a huge impact on data strategy.
