Assist in the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the Data Center/Facility Provide assistance to contractor or data center engineers to ensure proper operation, maintenance of all facility equipment and building racks Perform site walkthrough to verify proper operation of Facility Equipment and Monitoring System Ensure overall availability and reliability for our customers within our Data Centers Install new rack equipment Decommission existing racks Assist root cause analysis of equipment failures Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLA Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work In addition, all candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful. Physical Requirements
Walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch. Work at heights and from ladders Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds unassisted; and participate in group lifts for 36 pounds or more Daily travel between sites may be required Candidates must hold the right to work in the UK before or by the commencement of the program.
