Data Centre Engineer , you will deliver IMACD Services from small alterations such as patching and fault finding through to large and involved upgrades such as decommissioning and recommissioning servers. What you’ll be doing as our Data Centre Engineer: Installations Decommissions Nlyte Health Checks Changes Access Requests Handovers Stock Switch Port Inventory Receipt and receive parts and devices Failed Media Disposal Process Rota Other tasks as assigned Ensure Office & Storerooms are kept organised Ensure punctual attendance for all meetings Ensure punctual attendance in the office Ensure emails from clients are responded to in a timely manner Proactively suggest and seek improvements and efficiencies in all everyday tasks and processes Support the DCM, DCS & SDM in providing an excellent service to the client What we’re looking for in our Data Centre Engineer: Experience of working in high-risk environments and Data Centres Sound Knowledge of Infrastructure Technologies & Networking Concepts Competent in MS Office and Helpdesk/Service Delivery Applications A reliable individual The ability to work under pressure A flexible approach to shift patterns The ability to communicate clearly at all levels Strong organisational, interpersonal, and administrative skills If you feel you have the required skills and experience, click
