Data Centre Network Engineer We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Data Centre Network Engineer to join a client of ours for a migration project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-Telco environments and a strong understanding of installation processes and practices. This role requires proficiency in network design and documentation, particularly related to Arista fabrics, circuit ordering, and DWDM deployments. Start Date:

Contract (Inside IR35) Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions in multi-Telco environments. Analyse and document Arista fabric designs and their implications for network operations. Manage circuit ordering processes and oversee DWDM deployment projects. Work with Nexus 7k and Cisco 6500 environments, with a willingness to learn about Arista systems. Create detailed documentation and maps of all site connectivity to identify business areas and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive runbooks for migration tasks based on connectivity documentation. Utilise Microsoft Office and Visio to produce high-quality documentation and diagrams. Contribute to high-level design discussions and strategies. Participate in data centre migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime. Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in a Telco network engineering role, with a strong understanding of installation processes and practices. In-depth knowledge of Arista fabric design, circuit ordering, and DWDM deployments. Familiarity with Nexus 7k and Cisco 6500 environments; experience with Arista is a plus. Exceptional documentation and mapping skills, with the ability to create clear and detailed runbooks. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio for documentation and design purposes. Experience with high-level design and data center migrations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience in financial services. Please note this requirement does not support overseas working and is Inside IR35.
