Data Centre Shift Leader - 65k + Bonus - Slough - Client Direct
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Data Centre Shift Leader to join a leading organisation in Slough's Data Centre operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in data centre operations, including holding a valid HV ticket.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a small shift team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the data centre. Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors on-site daily. Monitor and maintain high operational standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensure the timely response to any technical issues or emergencies that may arise, coordinating with relevant teams as needed. Regularly review and report on operational performance to senior management.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment, with hands-on knowledge of operations and procedures. Previous HV experience is required for this role. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high service standards.
Desirable Skills:
Additional technical qualifications related to electrical engineering are essential. Experience working in mission-critical facilities with a focus on uptime and reliability.
