Data Controller

to join their team based in Newby Bridge, Lake District. This role focuses on maintaining the integrity of data within their MRP system, ensuring smooth and accurate planning and scheduling of materials across the business. As an

MRP Controller , you’ll be responsible for overseeing the flow of manufacturing data, managing stock levels, and ensuring all parts are accurately entered into the system. While experience with

Odoo

is beneficial, the company is open to candidates with experience in any

MRP system , and they are happy to provide training and support for junior candidates. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the data within the

MRP system , ensuring that all parts and manufacturing data are accurately entered, linked, and up-to-date. Work closely with teams to input new products and ensure data is correctly valued and updated in the

MRP system . Ensure that materials are ordered and delivered on time by maintaining accurate records within the

MRP system

and helping to coordinate the production flow. Collaborate with other departments, including CNC workshops and subcontractors, to ensure all production requirements are met in a timely manner. Support the implementation of new data within the

MRP system

for new products, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Engage with stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth data flow, resolve issues, and maintain the accuracy of the

MRP system . Proactively spot and address any numerical errors, such as incorrect data entries, ensuring that no discrepancies affect production schedules. Work with an intern, providing guidance and support to ensure the

MRP system

is used effectively across the business. Ideal Candidate:

Experience with an

MRP system

(experience with

Odoo

is a bonus, but not essential). Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in numerical data. Good understanding of spreadsheets and general IT systems. A structured and methodical approach to work, with the ability to maintain high data integrity. Comfortable working with different teams, speaking to people, and managing data across various departments. Previous experience in a data management or control type role is an advantage.
