About you We’re looking for

a problem solver

who’s driven by data analysis, is highly accurate with an adaptable approach, process driven, resilient and conscientious. Intermediate / Advanced Excel

skills are

essential

(confidence in pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, IF, COUNTIF, UNIQUE, XLOOKUP etc). Other essential skills and qualities include: A keen focus on attention to detail, even when working to tight deadlines Capable of working on own initiative Demonstrable experience managing large and varied datasets A clear communicator, both written and verbally Confident in holding others accountable Eager to learn, inquisitive, with a view to enhance processes Good time management with excellent organisational and planning skills A good understanding of calculation and report building / maintenance Flexible; able to multi-task and is comfortable working independently or with a team Previous experience working on Power BI / Power Query / DynamicsCRM would be beneficial.

What you’ll be doing As the Data Curation Analyst you will have a solid understanding of the requirements for commercial data around the business, to ensure it can be collected, analysed and presented to key stakeholders across the business. Common tasks will include: Safeguarding the database to ensure consistency across systems and departments Maintaining records of all client services and commercial terms within the relevant systems Acting as a conduit between finance, commercial teams and client services to ensure commercial data has been applied accurately for revenue recognition, forecasts, billing, claims, collections and payments processes, etc Producing regular MI in line with agreed SLAs, and fulfilling ad-hoc reporting requests Analysing, enhancing and validating Commercial Terms template (SoSA) to ensure it meets evolving needs of the business and clients Devising reports by interpreting and anticipating the needs of management Assisting with the adoption, maintenance and ongoing optimisation of CRM and other internal systems and processes Monitoring progress relating to mobilisation requirements, pivot department activity, follow up with responsible departments
