Are you early in your data-driven marketing career? Do you thrive with autonomy and driven by results and enjoy being accountable? If you want to apply your love of data to help a brand make smart marketing decisions, this is where you can grow your career in an empowering professional environment.

Founded on family values, this employer has the legacy of being the world’s leading online ferry travel network winning ‘The World’s Leading Ferry Website’ and ‘Europe’s Leading Ferry Website’ awards for decades. The company has data steering everything they do, with all ports of the business docked into it. Actioning on the analysis and insights has anchored them into their best position yet, servicing their customers even better. The company mantra is pushing for “great”, not settling for just ”good”. It’s an empowering environment culture with a lot of autonomy (and accountability) where careers can thrive. We’re hiring a new inhouse Digital Marketing position. THE ROLE

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll contribute to the execution of the digital marketing strategy. You must be data-driven as the company’s whole ethos is founded on data and understanding their customers’ behaviour. Keeping abreast of industry news, you’ll demonstrate proactive learning, and an eagerness to test and learn. Your digital marketing knowledge underpins all channels, and will support your ability to run the daily marketing “trading desk” stand-up. To thrive your communication will be effective and efficient. You’ll be able to write, publish, measure and iterate on marketing content. You’ll thrive with autonomy but enjoy the support and learning from working closely with the CEO. As part of a small, international marketing team responsible for the end-to-end marketing performance of the company’s 2 core brand UK websites (and 20+ localised versions) you’ll measure, analyse and execute marketing strategy across Paid (£1.5M spend per annum), Organic and Direct (1M+ customer email database in 5 major languages). Disciplined, driven by results and with an inner love of data, you’ll (learn to) create/update dashboards using SQL scripts to measure performance, run experiments and document learning in continuous cycles of improvement.
