Our Data Engineering, Analytics & AI function is accountable for all things data. We have the mission of turning data into a strategic asset and creating a data-driven culture. Right now, we’re undergoing some complex migration projects which includes data from across the business and we’re working with Enterprise availability groups and AWS cloud-based technologies. This role is open to anyone looking to administer and manage a mission-critical, complex, and high-volume Database Platform in a 24/7/365 environment. Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

On a daily basis, you’ll develop and maintain a large and complex SQL codebase and take ownership for routine and non-routine complex deployments, configuration, support, management, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL, data management, and associated technologies. You’ll ensure the Database Platform is reliably backed up and protected (including disaster recovery) to mitigate the risk of data loss or corruption and to ensure business continuity. You’ll also protect the evergreening of the Database Platform with the latest patches across the whole tech stack, whilst ensuring security practices, assessment, and issue resolutions are always in place for the Database Platform. A Few Things About You

You’ve got experience working at a Senior Operational Database Administration capacity, meaning you’ve got the ability to fully administer and manage mission-critical and complex database environments in AWS and Azure. You’ll have knowledge of database high availability, clustering, disaster recovery, very high transaction volumes, and performance tuning. You have a strong knowledge of SQL Server (multiple versions). You’re confident in your knowledge and experience of batch scheduling software. A Bit About Us
