About the role: As a Data Engineer / Data Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-level data solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across financial services, you will leverage your expertise to build scalable architectures, optimise data pipelines, and ensure data enables strategic decision-making. You'll bring not just technical expertise but also a consultancy mindset, enabling you to understand client needs and drive impactful data strategies.

Key Responsibilities: Design and implementation of robust, scalable enterprise data architectures. Develop and optimise modern data warehousing systems and data models (e.g., dimensional, data vault). Build and maintain efficient ETL processes and scalable data pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data requirements into innovative technical solutions. Ensure data quality, governance, and security, aligning with industry and regulatory standards. Act as a mentor to junior engineers, sharing knowledge and driving best practices. What we are looking for: You bring 5+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with a proven ability to deliver enterprise-level solutions. Experience in financial services consultancy. Knowledge of data modelling techniques (dimensional modelling, data vault, etc.). Proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (preferably Snowflake and/or Databricks). A consultative approach to problem-solving, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in financial services, regulated environments, or as part of a consultancy team is highly advantageous. Familiarity with tools like DBT, Fivetran, Dataiku, or Alteryx. Interest or experience in AI/ML and real-world application to data engineering solutions. Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements in the financial sector. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Certifications in leading platforms such as SnowPro, AWS, Azure, or GCP are a plus. Why Choose Projective Group?
