As a Data Engineer, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience throughout the entire product development lifecycle while playing a vital role in shaping our data and machine learning capabilities. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy high-performance data analysis pipelines using traditional data processing techniques and machine learning models. Conduct data analysis, feature engineering, and architectural design to optimize data processing performance and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to translate business requirements into impactful technical solutions. Develop and maintain robust, scalable machine learning pipelines using cloud services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, AWS Glue, Flink, EC2, S3, Lambda) and other relevant tools. Stay up-to-date with advancements in computer vision and machine learning, identifying opportunities to integrate innovative solutions into the business. Contribute to the development and enhancement of machine learning infrastructure and best practices. Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Experience and Skills

Essential: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on machine learning or data processing. 3+ years of professional experience developing and deploying data processing systems, particularly with near real-time data processing. Solid understanding of data processing concepts and architectures (e.g., ETLs, data catalogs, and visualization preparation). Proficiency in Python and experience with widely-used libraries. Strong expertise with AWS services, including SageMaker, AWS Glue, EC2, S3, and Lambda. Experience with cloud-native development and deployment methodologies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Passion for machine learning and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. General: Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity in overcoming technical challenges. A growth mindset and enthusiasm for staying updated on industry trends and best practices. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to openness and transparency. Initiative and the ability to self-start when necessary. Knowledge or experience in the aquaculture or related sectors. Familiarity with MLOps principles and best practices. Experience with distributed computing and large-scale data processing.
