Our client is a global professional services team helping the world's leading companies turn strategy into results. The team require an experienced data engineer to help build and maintain the Data & Dashboards workstream as they look to develop the client facing dashboards for the company.
Responsibilities:
Store, transform, translate, existing data, developing scalable ELT pipelines that will help in the design of client facing PowerBI dashboards.
Ensure reliable data delivery from diverse sources such as APIs, transactional databases, file-based endpoints and S3 buckets.
Collaborating with product and regional teams to help build data models and workflows that drive decision making and analytics across the company.
Implementing data governance policies, including standards for data quality, access controls, and classification.
Mentoring junior team members and championing best practices in data engineering, including code reviews, testing, and pipeline orchestration.
Profile:
4 years' + experience as a data engineer with a track record of building and optimising complex pipelines in big data environments.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and manipulation.
Strong knowledge of modern data stack tools, including Airbyte, dbt, Snowflake and cloud platforms like AWS.
Familiarity with data modelling concepts and warehousing best practices, including dimensional modelling.

Day rate: Up to £500Ltd / £350 PAYE per day
