Data Engineering Consultant - Remote - £60,000 + bonus
I am working with a Microsoft Partnered consultancy who are looking for a Senior Data Engineering Consultant to join their growing team. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of client projects across a number of different industries such as retail, finance, and the public sector.
In this role, you will focus on the delivery of projects utilizing the latest Azure technologies. This Microsoft partner operates with cutting-edge technologies, and you will be encouraged to expand your skill set every day! You will work directly with the organization's client base, consulting with them about their data initiatives and advising them on the best course of action regarding the delivery and implementation of cloud-based data platforms.
You will be encouraged to engage with both in-house and Microsoft certified training courses to ensure you have the experience necessary with the latest Microsoft technologies. This is a salaried role paying up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience and includes a company benefits package, including a bonus. This is predominantly a home-based role with occasional fully expensed visits to client sites as required.
To be successful in the role you will have: Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure data platform architecture Strong understanding of Databricks Coding experience with both Python and SQL Experience working with Azure Data Factory for creating ETL solutions Experience working with Azure Data Lake and Delta Lake storage
