Data Governance Analyst Description:

Lockton International began a transformational journey that included investing in several data related capabilities, led by an agile data management team. Lockton International is seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented self-starter to join our Data Governance Team. We are looking for an exceptional candidate with proven experience in working within a Data Governance Team to assist with the day-to-day performance of key operational tasks to ensure the team successfully delivers key components of the overarching strategy. Role Responsibilities: Manage the data quality log and ensure that reported issues are logged, monitored, and resolved (through partnership with data stewards and relevant business SMEs). Partner with data analysts (within the team), IT, and/or data stewards to address data quality issues. Partake in system data quality updates to improve the overall quality of output data for reporting purposes. Liaise with IT and technical data analysts to produce data catalogues and dictionaries. Manage the data glossary and ensure that critical system definitions are incorporated as part of a monthly process. Partake in ad hoc data projects and assist with the production of critical data governance documentation (policies, procedures, etc.). Candidate Profile: We are looking for an ambitious candidate with a passion for producing positive results and creating value-added outcomes. We need someone who can keep their calm in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Adaptability is a must. Bachelor's degree. Prior experience working on process/operational improvement. Good understanding of data ownership frameworks. Previous experience working with data quality logs. Prior experience using Power BI reports. Prior experience working within a data/data governance team. Prior experience developing data catalogues/dictionaries. Prior experience developing and communicating status reports in Excel or PowerPoint. Very results-oriented. Proficient with using Word, Excel (Intermediate level), and PowerPoint. Scheduled:
