The team Schroders' Data Office (SDO) team is Schroders' central data strategy, operating model, education and governance function. The function provides Data oversight to the entire Schroders Group, enhancing our data capabilities to drive business value through data and support the company vision to improve data literacy and governance. What you'll do

Contribute to the development and implementation of data management strategies and policies across the organisation, ensuring data integrity, quality and accessibility Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data governance initiatives, enhancing data standards and practices Support the organisation to leverage data assets effectively to meet business objectives through data analysis and insights Assist in the development and maintenance of data architecture and infrastructure, including metadata management and data catalogues Support the evaluation and implementation of tools and technologies that enhance data management capabilities and efficiency Monitor and report on data quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

2-5 years of experience in data management, data governance or related roles Strong understanding of data management frameworks, methodologies and best practices Understanding of the Data Management value chain and end to end processes Strong analytical and written communications skills, capable of converting complex information into concise and understandable formats The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

Educated to a minimum of first / Bachelors degree Ideally would have experience using either Collibra and/or Solidatus as enterprise data tools (data catalogues, data quality and data lineage) Understanding of the Investment Management value chain and end to end processes (client onboarding, product development, portfolio management, implementation, investment operations, fund administration, reporting, etc.) Investment management experience gained primarily in Buy Side organisations, across a number of areas, such as: Different Investment business lines, such as Public Markets (e.g. Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset), Private Markets (e.g. Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt) and Wealth Management Key functions of an investment manager, e.g. Front, Middle and Back Office, Distribution, Product Development, Technology and Corporate Functions Strong understanding of data with demonstrable data literacy skills What you'll be like
