Softcat is embarking on a multi-year Sales system transformation programme, and we are currently in the system and partner selection stage.

We require a Data Manager to lead the data workstream and be responsible for the data architecture/design, data governance, and data migration strategies and delivery to ensure a successful transition from the legacy to the new Sales system.

As a Data Manager, you'll be responsible for:

Data Migration - Design and document the data migration approach and scope (strategies and process design – steps and cycles, resources, tools and framework, data scope etc.).

Data Governance - Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance.

Data Assessment & Planning - Create a Data Strategy for the programme.

Data Cleansing & Planning - Lead the planning and monitoring working with the Data Analyst and partners.

We'd love you to have:

Experience of managing the data workstream on systems transformation programmes.

Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.

Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Migration Strategies.

Experience of leading teams capturing data inventories.
