About the practice: The DAA practice represents a growing capability within Eviden and currently comprises a talented team of analysts, developers, consultants, and architects covering all aspects of the information management lifecycle; from data management through to business intelligence and analytics. The practice is technology agnostic and has capability across a range of technologies, including products from SAP, IBM, Microsoft, Tableau, and Qliktech. Responsibilities: Gather requirements and analyze existing data sets as an input to the development and delivery of data and analytics solutions, specifically the migration of existing solutions to new. Facilitate client workshops/interviews to gather client requirements and turn these into data models. Input into the definition of the Data Migration Strategy. Work with our Data Migration Partner to deliver the data migration solution. Define the end-to-end data migration architecture, including data mapping. Client-facing role working through requirements and delivering data architectures in required formats and using agreed data design/modelling tools. Essential or Minimum Criteria: Client (Customer) Focus, Delivery Focus, Profitability, Creativity, Team Working. An in-depth understanding of modern data architectures including data lakehouses, data mesh, and different hyperscaler offerings. An in-depth understanding of Microsoft Azure technology. Demonstrable experience of defining and building BI/Data Warehouse logical and physical models including normalized and dimensional models as required as well as data lake architectures. Demonstrable experience in defining and building Data Migration architectures. Expertise in a minimum of one data modeling tool, preferably Erwin and/or IBM Rational System Architect. Expertise in running client workshops to extract and understand client data requirements and turn these into valuable data models. Demonstrate a thorough appreciation of the architecture, design, and data-related issues that affect the development of the different types of Data Warehouse and BI applications. Demonstrate experience across a range of relational and database technology, including Oracle and SQL Server. Experience in at least one of Azure, AWS, or Google architectures.
