As a Data Modeller, you will be an integral member of the Data Change delivery team, working closely with various business units and IT departments. You will create data solution designs that can be iteratively developed within an Agile framework. Your designs will represent business and data requirements for both small and large changes related to AA data platforms, ensuring alignment with architecture and design principles. What will I be doing?

Collaborate with Analysts and Architects to deliver low-level designs based on business requirements and high-level designs. Ensure alignment of low-level designs with application architecture, high-level designs, and AA Standards, Frameworks, and Policies. Analyse data sets to identify modelling logic and key attributes required for low-level design, and create and maintain appropriate documentation. Develop and update Physical Data Models (PDMS) and participate in design reviews. Lead handover sessions to developers and testers, and estimate effort required for low-level design documentation. Provide technical and business knowledge support to Business Analysts, and engage with the full end-to-end data development process within an Agile scrum framework. What do I need?

Experienced with data warehouse and business intelligence, including delivering low-level ETL design and physical data models. Proficient in Data Warehousing Design Methodologies (e.g., Kimball dimensional models) and Data Modelling tools (e.g., ER Studio). Strong Data Analysis skills and hands-on experience with SQL/Python for data interrogation. Working knowledge of Cloud-based data and analytics solutions (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Informatica, PowerBI) and ETL/ELT technology (e.g., Informatica DEI). Proven ability to understand business processes, facilitate meetings with senior stakeholders, and translate business requirements into technical designs. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure and collaboratively within a cross-functional delivery team. Additional information
