Job Summary The Data Officer will work with a range of key stakeholders to support digital functionality and promote the importance in gaining in-depth awareness and knowledge of how digital applications can deliver improved business processes and outcomes for users, including patients and clinicians. This post would suit individuals who are confident in the use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, have extremely strong Microsoft Excel skills, and have a detailed understanding and working knowledge of NHS Patient Clinical Record Systems, in particular SystmOne. This role will support teams within our organisation, to ensure effective adaptation, utilisation and data on our systems including SystmOne and eConsent. You will work with the various clinical/Admin teams across the regions to identify and resolve data quality issues and support the Operations team, to create and run necessary clinical searches and reporting as required to our commissioning teams. Main Duties of the Job To lead on operational reporting requirements. Be responsible for the compiling, analysis and report production in line with IntraHealth's contract requirements with NHSE. Data monitoring, analysis and production of key reports, carefully analyse data to produce clear accurate findings. To support with all aspects of data quality. Manage the data documentation from initiation to completion. To produce and analyse data within and outside of S1/eConsent to include spreadsheets when required. To be the organisation's expert in SystmOne, the go-to person for digital applications and the trainer and mentor for all team members needing to use NHS clinical systems. To effectively work with key stakeholders when dealing with queries in relation to systems and/or data quality issues and delivering appropriate solutions. To identify any areas of improvement to limit poor data quality. Support staff in their understanding of digital applications. Support clinical teams in recording patient and clinical information in their patient care systems and assist in the implementation of consistent approaches to data including the use of templates and structured data sets. Maintain and develop data quality documentation producing procedure flow diagrams, process documents etc. About Us IntraHealth is one of the UK's leading providers of NHS Primary and Community Care services. Our team is made up of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Nurses, Pharmacists, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams supported by a centralised back office function; providing finance, HR, administration and data analysis support. We operate NHS services across the North East, North West and Yorkshire. We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to join us in a new role of Data Officer to support our Clinical Services Division (which includes School Immunisation contracts and Anticoagulation Monitoring Service contracts) based at our Head Office in the William Brown Centre, Peterlee, County Durham and/or at one of our offices across the regions in which we operate (North West, Yorkshire or Midlands). Person Specification Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level in a digital related subject or equivalent level qualification / experience Experience Essential Proven experience in patient clinical record systems and processes particularly SystmOne Experience in the management and the maintenance of data quality Experience in using a range of computerized software including MS Office Experience of presenting and explaining data through written and verbal communication Desirable Experience of training for new starters system access Attitudes/Skills/Qualities Essential Ability to promote the positive image of the organisation Support a culture of mutual respect for each other and the environment Good customer service/can-do attitude Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of professional colleagues Excellent team player Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised Flexible and adaptable Willing & quick to learn new skills & procedures Ability to travel across sites where required Excellent IT skills comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the use of software and relevant packages Ability to use Excel to its full potential: Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLookups for analytical purposes and to develop extensive dashboards and generate bespoke reports Excellent knowledge of SystmOne to support data management functions Ability to write and modify systems of working guidelines and processes Able to provide complex or sensitive information verbally and in a range of documentary forms including reports Understanding of data security and information governance Desirable Ability to enthuse staff in a changing environment Experience of supporting national programmes and locally commissioned services, and how clinical systems contribute to improved patient outcomes.
