Data Product Owner

to join a newly developed team. As our

Data Product Owner , you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of multiple data teams. By managing dependencies and facilitating communication between teams, you will ensure that data products are developed in a cohesive and integrated manner, avoiding silos and ensuring consistency across the organisation. This role is a blend of strategic thinking, product management, and delivery expertise to ensure that data solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements. Key Priorities Delivery Oversight : lead in data strategy and execution, allowing PBS to harness the full potential of data, driving innovation, improving decision-making, and maintaining a competitive edge, with a focus on leveraging emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), where appropriate. Product Management : Manage Customer & Colleague insight, regulatory requirements, understand the market for Data Services and understand the approach to technical debt & technology capability within our IT Estate. Data Product Delivery : ensuring alignment with business objectives, optimising resource use, leading the organisation in leveraging data as a strategic asset and ensuring that data initiatives are successful and contribute meaningfully to the company’s overall success. Stakeholder Management:

Working closely with senior stakeholders from across the business to define and align in the delivery of the conditions of satisfaction for each Chief Business Area. Regulatory Compliance : ensures that all data products comply with relevant regulations and standards. This includes overseeing data governance efforts and ensuring that data privacy, security, and compliance requirements are met across all teams and initiatives. Continuous Improvement : Implement metrics to measure the success and performance of data products. Identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance data quality, usability, and value. Data Decision:

Manage the priority of delivery and maximize opportunities across the teams to safely deliver the shared goals. Skills we are looking for: Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. Working knowledge of financial data technologies, tools and platforms. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team. Stakeholder Management: across the organisation and Communications including CDO/Head of Data Services and Exec Sponsor Engagement. Regulatory Reporting: Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements. Working knowledge of Agile Delivery Methodologies. Project Management experience in change management methodologies.
