As the Data Protection Officer, you will act as the primary point of contact for all data protection matters, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining data protection policies, conducting audits and risk assessments, providing employee training, monitoring data processing activities, liaising with regulatory authorities, handling data breach notifications, and staying updated on data protection laws and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance.
Essential Skills: 3+ years of experience as a Data Protection Officer or in a similar role, with in-depth knowledge of GDPR and other data protection laws.
Strong understanding of data protection tools and technologies, such as encryption, access control, and data loss prevention (DLP).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations to non-experts.
Proven experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and implementing compliance measures.
Native German speaker with fluency in English.
